about

This track is a salute to rugged individualism. While we all need to get along in society for it to function in a somewhat reasonable manner, there's nothing wrong with being yourself. If you don't believe in something, work for change. Don't just conform. Save the wolves save the elephants and bees! What the hell is with this mono-culture anyways? What we need is more diversity! Turn it up and enjoy!!

lyrics

That’s Just Me

I don’t care what the neighbors say I do what I want to do
Let the grass grow nice and tall let the dandelions all come shining through
Because that’s the way I like it a little wild and free
What the hell is with this mono-culture anyways?
What we need is more diversity
But that’s just me that’s just me

I don’t care what the radio plays I sing what I want to sing
What’s the sense of me playing their songs to me they don’t mean anything
I write the songs in my soul and I’ll sing ‘em until I’m cold
And if the sound really brings you down
It ain’t the end of this God forsaken world to me
But that’s just me that’s just me

It ain’t your body and it ain’t your mind it ain’t your spirit – it’s a one of a kind
They broke the mold for a damn good reason and I can understand why

I don’t care what the talking heads said I think what I want to think
Life is short I’ll try to live it well and I’ll drink what I want to drink
Save the wolves save the elephants and bees and get down on my knees
Thank the Lord for the ones I Iove
The ones that mean the world to me
But that’s just me that’s just me
